Our Goals

To provide financial support for educational programs and activities that enrich the curriculum

To solicit monetary and in-kind support for the schools from local businesses, community organizations and individuals

To solicit grants from private charitable and corporate funding sources as well as from state and federal sources

To encourage advocacy for public education within the community
Our Success
During the period of Fiscal Year July 1, 2004 (rejuvenation of the GMEF) through Fiscal Year June 30, 2009, the GMEF has raised $99, 259.37. We are proud to report that 99% of the money raised has been returned to the community in the form of Student Enrichment Grants, Annual Galas and Christmas Concerts.
